的 雅各比俱乐部 of Boston began in 1908 as part of the 伊曼纽尔运动 associated with Dr. Elwood Worcester of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church on Newbury Street in Boston. 和他一起 church duties, Worcester practiced a method of spiritual healing for a variety of neurotic 障碍.
